About

Hi, I’m Rahul.

I’m a Platform Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience working in production environments at a reputed IT organization.

On a day-to-day basis, I work with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, focusing on real operational problems rather than theoretical setups. My work involves:

  • Kubernetes troubleshooting and incident analysis
  • Cluster upgrades and component upgrades
  • Improving platform stability and reliability
  • Working with cloud infrastructure on AWS and Google Cloud (GCP)
  • Debugging issues related to Kubernetes Infrastructure, monitoring, and alerts

Platform Notes is a space where I document real-world learnings from production incidents — the kind of issues that usually surface during upgrades, outages, or on-call situations and aren’t always clearly covered in documentation.

I write about:

  • Kubernetes issues encountered in real environments
  • Platform and infrastructure failures and how they were diagnosed and resolved
  • Lessons learned from alerts, logs, and root cause analysis
  • Practical observations from operating cloud-native systems at scale

The goal of this blog is simple:
to share experience-driven insights that help other engineers understand why things break, not just how to fix them.

If you work in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure, you’ll likely find the content here relevant and practical.
